This type of sprayer has a very sensitive nozzle. We only recommend using very low viscosity liquids such as water, vinegar, alcohol, or liquid nutrients mixed with water. Oils, high viscosity liquids, or liquids with debris will clog and damage the nozzle.
Due to its super fine droplet size, our sprayer provides excellent, uniform coverage without runoff. We recommend using it as a mister for indoor plants and for foliar feeding.
Foliar feeding is a method of fertilizing plants by applying liquid fertilizer directly to their leaves. This technique allows nutrients to be absorbed quickly through the stomata and epidermis of the leaves, providing a rapid supply of essential nutrients to the plant. Foliar feeding is particularly useful for addressing nutrient deficiencies, boosting plant health, and promoting vigorous growth.
Try filling the sprayer with hot water from your sink (do not use boiling water) and spray until it is unclogged. This method should fix the issue if you were using high viscosity liquids.
We don't recommend using it for GrowSafe application, as it will clog the nozzle after a few uses. For GrowSafe, use our adjustable trigger sprayer.
